i normally don't have trouble understanding bishop allen lyrics but "the history of excuses" is giving me trouble in some parts (i.e. the entire first half of the second verse and the first line of the chorus). anyone want to take a stab at the lyrics? my best guess for the first line of the chorus is "and times change from nine to five, it's useless"
p.s. my favorite line is "i've got a dream where i'm out in the open, and there's mountains and trees and the smell of the ocean" - precious.
