Icon Charm School: a classic?

I think so.

The album quite simply is genius. It's marvelously simple, yet amazingly well done. It's itself. During the chorusof Little Black Ache I can't compare the guitar bit to anything. It's great to sing along to.

But there's one thing which I recently discovered.

It can be revisited after months without it:

Over the course of the time I've had Charm School I've bought many more albums than I usually do, and Bishop Allen has subsequently been listened to a little bit less than when I first got it.

I decided to listen again last night, and DANG! marvelous. So easy to revisit. A timeless classic.

Here's to the future of Bishop Allen! *raises beer*
