Haha, great idea.

Anyways, this is my first time seeing the band, and it did not disappoint. It was very cool to see them in person, and I got a chance to speak to Christian and Darbie. I was going to talk to Justin after the show, but they were packing up and I wanted to get going. I didn't want to bother them while they were loading their gear, so I said godbye to them as I went to my car.

It was quite a good weekend, and it really hit home when I was sitting in an empty bar about 30 minutes before show time that I came a long way for this. Des Moines, IA is about 6.5 hours from Milwaukee, and I had never even been to Milwaukee before. There weren't even tickets - just an $8 cover. There were maybe 50 people in the audience and many of them were singing along, so it looks like BA is loved by Milwaukee.

All in all, a perfectly surreal evening.

And I set the high score for Donkey Kong 3, and had a conversation with Jon, who was very cool and very upset that Donkey Kong 3 is not a true sequel to Donkey Kong. Right on, brotha. Right on.
