I hope some of you made it out to the Princeton show. This was, in my opinion, their second best show (following only the Tank opening, which just rocked.) The sound was really tight - they had a professional sound board getup there and engineer it looked like - and everything was really clear. BA had a lot of energy, and some new arrangements on old songs, and Christian Rudder had some really excellent guitar work. He was extemporanious, and a bit adventerous with it. Lots of fun. Everyone just looked like they were having a good time.
This also was one of the rare times when I really could clearly hear the vocals, and some of the new stuff is really coming together well.
I took a few pictures if anyone is interested: http://fugu.cs.columbia.edu/fugu/coppermine/thumbnails.php?album=64. Sadly, about halfway through, my new camera developed a fear of light, and started getting a bit streaky. Looks like I'm going to have to look into warranty service for it...
Great show though - I hope others made it out for this one.
