Okay. So, after listening to the newest version of the song (one that I don't think you guys have heard) it actually does sound like he's saying "I met a girl heh in Ithaca". Now, Justin has been known to sort of mumble on occassion and he doesn't completely pronounce "here" but it really sounds like that was the intention.

So, if the Polyvinyl version and this latest version both have it, it seems like it's intentional and he really is saying, "here in Ithaca".
