Inconvenience to find stuff on P2P? I always thought the problem with P2P (from the perspective of the RIAA) was that it was so easy.
I always prefer CDs to just digital files from places like iTunes. I do not want to be restricted in what music player I use and I would not want to spend extra money for blank CDs when I can just get the actual CD. Regarding the practice of downloading music illegally, I only download to decide if I like the CD or not. If the CD is not good, I will just delete it because I do not want it taking up space on my computer. If it is good, I will go out and buy the CD (I own 150+ CDs). It is true that some bands may lose sales if everyone did I what I do, but that would be because their CDs are not any good. I think that downloading music has led to me buying more CDs that I would have otherwise.
