Actually, what's most retarded, VT, is you pretending that Sonic Youth or Suicide or DNA are terrifically obscure, challenging bands. They're good, but, come on - they're pop, and they're pretty much the template for every overhyped NYC band of the past five years. Keep trying, if it's some sort of highbrow cred your looking for. Basically, you're telling us that nothing original has come out of anywhere but the East Village of the late '70's? Get over it.
