I guess, having not heard much of the Clementines tunes (just a few quick listens on MySpace) I can't really speak to that.
I also want Bishop Allen to rock, and I have a feeling we'll get plenty of rock before the 12 months are over. But when they're recording non-rock songs as beautiful as Flight 180 and Butterfly Nets, I'm perfectly happy.
