I know what he's saying. But if they say 'this is a Bishop Allen song,' then it's a Bishop Allen song. Is "After Hours" by the Velvet Underground not a VU song because they have a different vocalist and no drums? No, it's a VU song because they say it is.
It's an interesting question, but I don't think it really applies to the EPs. Solo shows or unreleased stuff, maybe. Like how you don't say it's a Shins show if James Mercer appears solo--then it's a James Mercer show.
