I'm speaking based on what I've pieced together from talking to various people here, so don't take this as gospel. Maybe one of the band members could clear it up, however...

It seems that they're shooting for a major label. Remember this time last year when both BA and Polyvinyl were talking about how they were going to be signing to PV? After it didn't happen, they're now hitting up some rather large record labels. So I'm figuring that they're going to be shooting for the moon on this one.
