I'm not filthy rich. It took us years and years of saying we really wanted to go to Alaska before we finally did.

Yeah, if I could find a good room-and-board-included summer job (I'd like to come out in the whatever-color-means-profit zone) up there, I'd totally go for it.

As for the Land's End owner being a jerk, I believe you, and I also find it cool that the town is small enough that you'd know that, even if it is a negative thing. But they do have that famous chowder at the restaurant, and it was yummy.

I really, really, do wish I could go back.
