I really am interested, thing is, my parents would probably find it too drastic. We usually take a family vacation every summer, perhaps I could convince them this would be a great return.

As for stitching panoramas, I think I just use the software that came with my Canon camera. I actually don't have it installed on this computer... I stitched that one up a while ago.
