Are they switching instruments or having all guest musicians? Did they write the song? Were they in the room when it was recorded? Did they approve it? Where any of the guest musicians wearing Bishop Allen tshirts? If you squint, do the guest musicians look like the band at all? Are the guest musicians' birthdays close to the original BA members whose instruments they match up with?

These are all very serious questions that I'll have to know to answer your hypothetical situation.
