The gist I've gotten, in all honesty from some people is that if I don't like the EPs, I should just keep it to myself, which I find is bullshit. If I was in Bishop Allen, I would welcome the criticism, to keep myself honest. But if that's not what is wanted here, then they should say so. Not saying the band thinks this, but that's the impression some fans give.
There's a difference between constructive criticism and asking for things in an unappreciative manner. I've frequently voiced things I think could be improved (the chorus of "Vain," comes to mind), and I encourage others to do the same.
